NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Learning in Retirement at Iona College’s Spring Semester starting on February 27th and ending on May 2nd, 2015 is open for registration.
LIRIC is an educational program for men and women of retirement age who are interested in intellectual stimulation as well as social interaction. The program offers the opportunity to take advantage of our wide-ranging curriculum.
Courses include Literary Discussion, Travel, Play Reading, Art Workshop, Creative Writing, The Middle Ages, Jazz, Bioethical Issues in The Modern World, American Perspective on the Holocaust, Academically Speaking, Ancient Egypt, The Story of English, Great Decisions, Computer Classes and a lecture Series on the American South as well as a film series on Female Roles in Films from the 1930s to the 1950s. Courses will be held at Juliano’s Catering and Iona College in New Rochelle.
