NEW ROCHELLE, NY — The City of New Rochelle has issued an alert following the first significant snowfall of 2015.
With 176 miles of highways and municipal and commuter lots to clean, Public Works crews are busy today. Help them.out by shoveling and blowing snow to the curb instead of in the street. If possible, avoid extra shoveling by waiting until Public Works crews have done their final clean-up on the street (snow plowed to the curb line).
And, help the Fire Department by digging out fire hydrants near your home or business.
