NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Catherine M. Lore, a lifetime resident of New Rochelle, passed away on February 3, 2015. She was 88.
Catherine was born on December 30, 1926 in New Rochelle to the late Carmelo and Mary (Peracchio) Bartucca. She worked for many years as an office manager for Sound Shore Medical Center in New Rochelle.
She is survived by her children Thomas J. (JoAnne) Lore and Eric (Emily) Lore; 5 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; her brother Peter Bartucca; her sisters, Rose Tunno, Alisandria Antonecchia, Anna Siller, Marietta Spano and Lorraine Mancuso.
She was predeceased by her husband Salvatore in 1988; her sisters Josephine Bartucca and Barbara Grasso.
Visiting hours will be Friday morning 8:30-10 a.m. at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel Inc., 16 Shea Pl, New Rochelle. A funeral Mass is scheduled for Friday 10:30am at Holy Family Church. Interment will follow at Beechwoods Cemetery.
