Former Italian CILA teacher, now at New Rochelle High School, Approved for Tenure

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Marianna Trombetta, a popular Italian language teacher at New Rochelle High School, was approved for tenure Tuesday by the New Rochelle Board of Education following a tenure recommendation by Principal Reggie Richardson.

Trombetta began her teaching career in New Rochelle at Jefferson School, teaching in the CILA program. She has also taught at Columbus School and Barnard Childhood Education Center.

Trombetta was noted for being an active PTA member and her involvement in extra-curricular activities.

Trombetta is an advisor to the high school Italian Club.
