In 2009, the Journal News did a report on school cafeteria inspection reports in Westchester County. New Rochelle had more “Unacceptable” Inspection Reports (10) than any other district. New Rochelle school cafeteria were the worst in Westchester County and had dozens of violations over a three-year period.
We decided to revisit the health inspection reports for New Rochelle schools and found that although many problems still existed in the 2014, there were just two schools that were flagged for Critical Violations: Isaac E. Young Middle School and Jefferson Elementary School.
