NEW YORK, NY — On March 6th, 25 sophomores at The Ursuline School took part in a Global Youth Summit in New York City.
The theme of the Summit was Innovations in Global Health. The summit was organized by Global Concerns Classroom, an innovative global education program that seeks to raise awareness among U.S. youth about current international humanitarian issues and to empower young people to take meaningful action.
Ursuline is piloting the Global Concerns Classroom curriculum this year.
The teams were judged on their presentations. Team Liberia Ursuline laced first and Team Ethiopia Ursuline placed third.
