PELHAM, NY — The Picture House in Pelham has announced that it will be offering an ‘Animation Vacation’ spring break camp from March 30th through April 2nd. All classes will take place at The Picture House’s historic 1921 theater and the new Satellite Film Lab.
Each day your child will work with a film industry professional and learn the different aspects of animation, from stop-motion, to claymation, to lego animation. They will create short animated films and two weeks later you will receive a link to their final product.
Half and full-day options are available. Cost: half day (9:00 a.m. -12:30 p.m.), $75 (daily rate) or $300 (weekly rate); full day (9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.), $120 (daily rate) or $480 (weekly rate).
Members at the Family level or higher receive a 10% discount on all education classes and camps.
