NEW ROCHELLE, NY — New Rochelle’s Braves and Finest, along with volunteers and supporters, will “Brave the Shave” to support childhood cancer research.
New Rochelle Firefighters and New Rochelle Police Officers will gather on the night of April 17 at Spectators Sports Pub & Restaurant 219 North Avenue in downtown New Rochelle.
St. Baldrick’s Foundation signature head-shaving event to raise funds and awareness for lifesaving children’s cancer research on April 17, 2015. With a goal of raising $10,000+, participants have registered to brave the shave to support the Foundation’s mission to Conquer Childhood Cancers!
The night will include music by Restless Jesters, a performace by The Westchester County Firefighters Emerald Society Pipe & Drums, 50/50 Raffle and other Raffle prize giveaways

The St. Baldrick’s Foundation, a volunteer-driven organization, is committed to funding the most promising research to find cures for childhood cancers and to give survivors long and healthy lives. As the largest non-government funder of childhood cancer research grants worldwide, the Foundation hosts head-shaving events where volunteers collect pledges and then shave their heads in solidarity with kids with cancer.
