New Rochelle Schools Union Reaches Tentative Agreement on 3-Year Deal with 5.1% Across-the-Board Raises

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — FUSE and the City School District of New Rochelle reached a tentative contract settlement late last week.

The three year deal includes across-the-board raises in each of the three years of the agreement.

The over all across-the-board raise for the three years is 5.1%. That breaks down as 2% in year one and 1.5% in years two and three.

There is no change to health insurance contributions in year one of the contract.

Members hitting one of the “increment steps” with the significant increase in salary will defer half of that increase in the year they move to that step.

There will be meetings for FUSE members to discuss the tentative agreement on Thursday, June 18 at 3:00, 4:00 and 5:30, location to be determined.

FUSE Members will vote on the contract on Tuesday, June 23 by ballot in their schools/worksites.
