New LWV Cable Programs: New Rochelle Council on the Arts, Westchester Children’s Museum at Playland Offerings This Summer

NEW ROCHELLE NY – New interviews for “City People and Issues,” a cable television program sponsored by the League of Women Voters of New Rochelle, highlights an abundance of summer cultural and entertainment around New Rochelle and Westchester.

Theresa Kump Leghorn, president of the New Rochelle Council on the Arts, describes summer concerts, art exhibits, pop-up arts encounters, dance and much more as the arts enliven the city.

Tracy R. Kay, executive director of the Westchester Children’s Museum, describes the transition of the former Playland Bath House into a hands-on, interactive museum that appeals to the entire family and is a year round attraction at the historic location.

The interviews, conducted by Ina Aronow, are on Cablevision Channel 76 on alternating Mondays at 7 p.m. and Wednesdays and Thursdays at 9 p.m. The interview with Leghorn will be shown during the weeks of July 13 and 27 and August 10.  The interview with Kay will be shown during the weeks of July 20 and August 3 and 17. It will be on-demand at vimeo.com after the first showing on Cablevision.
