NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Three members of the New Rochelle Public Library’s Board of Trustees were inducted at the board’s July 15th meeting. The length of terms was determined by the May 19th election. Charles F. Burke was inducted for a full five-year term. The other two board positions are fulfilling seats that were vacated before terms expired. Damon R. Maher will complete the remaining three years of a five-year term, and George K. Walters will complete the remaining two years of a five year term.
The Board also elected these officers for the 2015-2016 year: Haina Just-Michael, President; Emery Schweig, Vice-President; and Charles F. Burke, Secretary.
The Library Board of Trustees normally meets in the library’s Ossie Davis Theater on the second Thursday of each month at 7:30 p.m., with a public-to-be-heard session at 8:15 p.m.
