NEW ROCHELLE, NY –Tomorrow on August 13th at 5:30 PM Bob Marrone of The New Rochelle Chamber of Commerce and Mayor Noam Bramson will be cutting the Red Ribbon for the Grand Opening of The Marina Grille, located at 790 Drake Avenue in New Rochelle.  Reopened in July under new management, the restaurant has quickly become a highlight in the Westchester restaurant scene.

Located in the scenic harbor at Wright Island Marina, The Marina Grille has sweeping views of the sound from almost every table in the dining room and has outdoor seating for patrons to enjoy a beautiful sunny day or stargaze at night.

Don’t look up at the sky for too long, though, because the star of the show at this restaurant is the food.  Chef William Leon is well known to the New Rochelle community, having successfully paired fresh small plates and bites with excellent wines at The Gnarly Vine for almost 10 years.  At the Marina Grille, Chef William has expanded his menu, offering dishes that span continents in culinary tastes.  He is as adept at making a fish taco as he is at crafting a well-prepared bowl of Tagliatelle Bolognese that tastes as if it has been simmering in the kitchen for hours.  As with the Gnarly Vine, he has a vast and interesting array of beer and wine options from which to choose.  That may be your only problem with this place – choosing a meal and the perfect wine to pair with it.  Although the menu is small, it offers options for everyone, all of which are prepared with the freshest ingredients purchase locally the day it’s prepared.

The Marina Grille serves delicious sea food and is open 7 days a week, serving lunch Wednesday – Saturday, dinner Monday – Saturday and brunch on Sunday.  It is an intimate restaurant with limited seating so reservations are highly recommended.
