NEW YORK, NY — The Iona College golf team is tied for seventh place after day one of the Colgate Invitational at Seven Oaks Golf Club. As a team, the Gaels shot 308 (+20), and are sitting 27 shots behind the leader, Youngstown State.
The leader for the Maroon and Gold has been Devin Delisle, shooting a 78 in round one, and an improved 76 on his second go around. He is currently tied for 14th overall (+10), 11 shots behind leader Ryal Allison of Colgate (+1).
Kevin Kramarski isn’t far behind his teammate, registering round two score of 76. He is tied for 19th overall with a score of +12 thus far.
Pailo Matti (+18), and Brian Fitzpatrick (+19) both shot below 80 during round two, improving by 6 and 7 strokes respectively from their opening rounds.
