NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Joann E. Langan, a lifelong resident of New Rochelle, died on September 4, 2015. She was 66.
Joann was born on November 18, 1948, to the late John J. and Josephine (Summo) Moran, Sr.
She worked for over 25 years at NY Telephone Co. and then at Verizon.
She is survived by her loving daughter Jacqueline (Thomas) Wuensch; her beloved grandchildren Sofia, Thomas, Ian and Benjamin; her siblings: Jacqueline (Bob) Sarvaideo, Mary Ellen (Ted) Capossela, Robert (Lisa) Moran and Michael Moran and her former husband George Langan and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. She was predeceased by her sister Paula and her brother John Jr.
Visiting hours will be Monday 4-8pm at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel Inc. 16 Shea Pl. New Rochelle, NY 10805. A funeral Mass is scheduled for Tuesday 10:00 am at St. Joseph’s Church. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
