09/28 Astorino and the New York Rangers to Announce New Expanded Ice Rink for Westchester’s Winter Wonderland 11 AM

WHAT:                      Westchester County Executive Robert P. Astorino will join the New York Rangers alumni, Friends of Westchester County Parks and the Westchester County Parks Department to announce the addition of an expanded ice rink at Westchester’s Winter Wonderland. The announcement ceremony will also include the naming of the ice rink, which will be similar in size to the ice rink at Rockefeller Center. The rink is part of a new partnership with the New York Rangers. Rangers’ alumni will also reveal fan experience attractions that will be incorporated into the festive event. Building on its successful premier last year, Friends will highlight new enhancements to Winter Wonderland that will provide residents and visitors a bigger and better fun, family-friendly holiday experience.
