NEW ROCHELLE, NY — The members of the Class of 2016 went on their Senior Class Overnight Retreat filled with bonding, prayer, reflection and personal renewal. The girls were joined on their retreat by members of the faculty and administration who led the reatreat, held at the Archdiocese of Newark Retreat Center in New Jersey. This retreat experience allowed them to examine their personal relationship with God while also building a stronger bond with their classmates. The retreat concluded with Mass and video to celebrate their time together.
As part of our Campus Ministry program, every Ursuline student has the opportunity to go on retreat each year. Students in grades 6 – 11 participate in a one-day retreat off campus. Students in grade 12 participate in an overnight retreat in the beginning of their senior year.
Retreats are also days of renewal. Our student Peer Ministers plan these experiences for grades 6-10. Faculty or outside presenters plan the retreats for grades 11 and 12.
