NEW ROCHELLE, NY — An Afternoon with Irving: The Words and Music of Irving Berlin will be performed by New York Cabaret Unlimited, on Sunday, October 25th, from 3:00 pm – 4:30 pm, in the Ossie Davis Theater of the New Rochelle Public Library. The popular vocal group’s staged performance will feature the songs of Irving Berlin from The Great American Songbook. “There’s No Business Like Show Business,” “Cheek to Cheek,” “Putting on the Ritz,” and “Anything You Can Do” are just a few of the beloved hits the audience will be humming as they leave the great show. The ensemble features vocalists Rhonda Liss, Regina Leon, Michael Fisher and Gary Skidmore, with Linda Levine (narrator), Walter Levine (pianist and arranger) and Geoff Morrow (bassist).
The concert is made possible by the Friends of the New Rochelle Public Library. A donation of $2.00 is suggested at the door.
