WHAT: The kick-off event for the most popular foodie celebration in the region, Fall Hudson Valley Restaurant Week, which will take place from November 2-15.
County Executive Robert P. Astorino will put on a chef apron and assist in preparing a signature entrée, “The Astorino Burger,” to kick off the annual event as Westchester County’s best chefs start firing up their kitchens to serve exceptional meals at discounted prices. Afterwards, Astorino and Hudson Valley Restaurant Week Founder Janet Crawshaw will help serve lunch to diners. Lunch will be served to all attendees.
From casual bistros to fine dining, Hudson Valley Restaurant Week brings together farmers, chefs and local purveyors to support the local economy and showcase the bounty that makes the region a nationally renowned culinary destination.
