NEW ROCHELLE, NY — A group of Ursuline Computer Science Honors students took part in a half-day field trip to the IBM Watson Global Headquarters in New York City’s Silicon Alley, in Manhattan on November 6th.
Students had the chance to discover how leading-edge technologies and innovative solutions can help solve business problems. They were briefed by both the IBM Interactive Experience and IBM Watson Experience teams.
The Ursuline School augments its core computer science curriculum by including ongoing study of both the history of computing and current developments within the industry, so that students have a better understanding of the study of computer programming as well as a broader perspective of the information technology industry, including potential career paths.
