NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Richard J. Creaturo, a longtime resident of New Rochelle, died on November 22, 2015. He was 77.
Richard was born on August 8, 1938 in White Plains to the late Raymond and Eleanor (Conway) Creaturo. He worked for many years as a manager for the US Post Office, Westchester Division. He volunteered for many years for the Blessed Sacrament High School Sports Program.
He is survived by his wife the former Elizabeth A. Romeo whom he married on September 19, 1959; his children Richard J. (Susanne) Creaturo, Jr., Stephen M. (Eleanor) Creaturo and Leighann (Leo) DiPasquale; 6 grandchildren: Margeaux, Andrew, Alexander, Richard, Ian and Emme; his 2 sisters Mae and Patricia and his brother Michael. He was predeceased by his brother Raymond.
Visiting will be Tuesday 4-8pm at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel, 16 Shea Pl, New Rochelle. A funeral Mass is scheduled for Wednesday 9:30am at Holy Family Church. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Alzheimer’s Association .
