NEW ROCHELLE, NY — WHO: Hundreds of Iona College students; families whose children were cared for at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital, the children’s hospital for New York’s Hudson Valley and Fairfield County, Connecticut
WHAT: The 2nd IonaTHON Dance Marathon fundraising event. Earlier this year, nearly 400 Iona College students raised a collective $15,000 during their inaugural IonaTHON. This Friday, they will put on their boogie shoes again and dance the night away for Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital, a member of the Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth), which cares for local children undergoing open-heart surgery, brain surgery, trauma and burn care, cancer treatments and other advanced treatments. Students will share the dance floor with multiple families whose children, ranging in age from 7 months to 16 years old, have had lifesaving and life-changing care at the hospital.

WHEN: 6 p.m. Friday, December 4 to 12 a.m. Saturday, December 5.
