WHAT: Iona Preparatory School K-12 will welcome back Pat Quinn (Class of 2001), who will speak about ALS and his inspirational story during halftime of each of the Gaels’ basketball games against Christ the King. Quinn, a former Gaels basketball player, was diagnosed with ALS (also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease) in 2013 and is regarded as one of the founders of the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. There will be giveaways, raffles and T-shirt sales during all three games, with proceeds to support the Quinn For The Win Foundation.
