NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Learning in Retirement at Iona College (LIRIC), sponsored by Iona College and affiliated with the Road Scholar LLI Resource Network, has finalized its Spring, 2016 catalog of courses and social activities for the eight-week session beginning March 4th. Featured are offerings in art, music, writing, history, science, literature, ethics and politics. A Friday lecture series will focus on “The Thirties”, followed by a film series on The Male Icon. LIRIC membership for the Spring/Summer sessions is $100.
LIRIC has also changed their venue for its 2016 off-campus programs. Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in New Rochelle will be the location for all Monday, Tuesday and Thursday sessions. The Friday lecture and film, as well as the hands-on computer classes, will continue to be held on the Iona campus.
