Call for Young Dancers

NEW YORK, NY — Ajkun Ballet Theatre, a New York City based professional ballet company, invites children of Westchester County, grades Pre-K – 8, to participate in our 2016 production of Carmen. Children partake in rehearsals of dance or theater (child’s choice, divided by age) at a local venue taught by AjkunBT’s Professional Artists on Saturdays throughout March and April. In April participants perform alongside artists of Ajkun Ballet Theatre in this original choreography adapted by Co-Artistic Director Chiara Ajkun after Bizet’s opera. AjkunBT’s Staff is committed to making this experience a unique and enjoyable one for all children, with or without previous training. 

Registration is limited. A suggested donation of $40 for your child’s participation will help cover the cost of instructor’s transportation to and from New Rochelle.
