NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Helen F. Fodero, a longtime resident of New Rochelle, died on January 8, 2016. She was 81.
Helen was born on October 6, 1934 in New Rochelle to the late Vincent and Anna (McNamara) Gotti.
Helen worked as a Medical Assistant for over 25 years for Dr. Tobi Klar in New Rochelle. Prior to that she was a Baby Nurse at the NY Foundling Hospital.
She is survived by her husband Frank whom she married on May 3, 1958; her children Suzanne (Tom) Gisin, Patrice (Brian) Sheridan and Frank (Erin) Fodero; her 7 grandchildren: Thomas, Matthew, Aiden, Ryan, Kate, Nora and Kyra and her brother Richard Gotti. She was predeceased by her sisters Joan Kelly and Suzanne Asjes.
Visiting Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel, 16 Shea Pl, New Rochelle. A Mass is scheduled for Monday 10:30 am at Blessed Sacrament Church, New Rochelle. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
