NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Marianne Jasiak, a resident of New Rochelle for over 40 years, passed away on February 19th at Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital at the age of 78. She is survived by her devoted husband of 51 years, Gunter as well as her sister Marlene, brother-in-law Georg Goebel of Bendorf, Germany and their children and families. Marianne was a co-owner of Heidi’s Deli in New Rochelle for many years. In addition to spending time with friends and family, she was an avid crafter and accomplished crocheter. She loved tending to her flowers and garden as well. Marianne was a supporter of The Wounded Warrior Project and her family requests that in lieu of flowers, a donation be made to the charity. A private ceremony will be held by the family.
