NEW ROCHELLE, NY — The League of Women Voters’ “Coffee and Conversation” on Friday, March 18th, at the New Rochelle Public Library, will feature Westchester County Legislator Jim Maisano. He will give an informal presentation on County matters, followed by a question and answer session. The free program, which is open to all, runs from 9:30 am – 11:00 am in the library’s Meeting Room. Complimentary coffee and light breakfast fare will be served.
Serving about 55,000 people in District 11, which includes Pelham, Pelham Manor, and part of New Rochelle, County Legislator Maisano was re-elected to his eighth term on the Westchester County Board of Legislators in 2011. He was raised in New Rochelle. After serving in the United State Marine Corps and attending college and law school, Jim returned to his hometown of New Rochelle to practice law and enter into public service. Legislator Maisano currently practices law at his own firm in New Rochelle and concentrates his practice on commercial and business litigation, personal injury, real estate, wills, estates and probate actions. He has served on the Westchester County Republican Committee Judicial Screening Committee and the New Rochelle Bar Association Judicial Screening Committee for an appointment to the New Rochelle City Court.
