New Rochelle Man Pleads Guilty to Sexual Assault of a Child at Tuckahoe Daycare

WHITE PLAINS, NY — Acting Westchester County District Attorney James A. McCarty announced today that Isaac McKnight, 24, of 134 Webster Avenue, New Rochelle, New York pled guilty to one count of Criminal Sexual Act in the First Degree, a class “B” Violent Felony.

The defendant was working as a part time assistant teacher at a day care center in the Village of Tuckahoe. On November 5th, 2015 he sexually assaulted a 4 year old child at the center.

A joint investigation carried out by the Village of Tuckahoe police and the Westchester County District Attorney’s Office resulted in McKnight’s arrest on November 12th, 2015. He was subsequently arraigned on the above mentioned charge. 

The defendant remains on remand at the Westchester County Jail. 

He is due to be sentenced on April 26th, 2015.

Deputy Bureau Chief Christine Hatfield of the Child Abuse Bureau is prosecuting the case.
