NEW ROCHELLE, NY — In an effort to increase safety at some of the City’s busiest intersections, the New Rochelle Police Department has installed red light cameras at various intersections throughout the City. Warning signs have been installed and enforcement will begin mid-April.
“The cameras will monitor select locations based on traffic volume and accident data. We hope that their installation will signal to motorists to drive more cautiously throughout the entire City,” said Police Commissioner Patrick Carroll.
