NEW ROCHELLE, NY — More than 400 Latino teens from New York City, Westchester, Rockland, Putnam, Sullivan, and Nassau Counties will gather at New Rochelle High School Saturday, April 16 from 10:00am-2:30pm for The Fourth Annual Latino Youth Leadership Conference. New York Yankees Legend Mariano Rivera will be the Keynote Speaker.
This massive event provides a dynamic forum for teens to build their skills, celebrate their strengths, and be inspired by successful Latino role models. Teens will participate in workshops focusing on leadership, education and career opportunities, and cultural identity. After his address to students, Mr. Rivera will lead a one-hour discussion with parents.
The Conference is hosted by New Rochelle High School’s Hispanic Culture Club, the United
Cultures Club, and the New Comers Ambassador Club.
