NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Leading women in education, industry and government emphasized the importance of empowerment and advancement for women at a regional roundtable discussion Thursday, April 28, at The College of New Rochelle. CNR President Judith Huntington and Lieutenant Governor Kathy Hochul co-chaired the event, which was part of a state-wide initiative by the Cuomo Administration aimed at addressing barriers preventing women from achieving leadership roles and inspiring the next generation of young women to aim higher. Participants underscored the need for women to seek out workplace mentors and advocates, and to identify opportunities to raise their visibility at their workplace.
