WHITE PLAINS, NY — County Executive Robert P. Astorino will join with the Junior League of Central Westchester to present the “Spa-tacular” event for survivors of domestic violence on Tuesday, May 10, at the Westchester County Center, 198 Central Ave., White Plains.
Fifty women have accepted invitations for the day of pampering, which will include massages, make-up applications, facials and manicures. All services have been donated, including luxurious robes from The Ritz-Carlton New York, Westchester. There will also be food, snacks and other goodies to enjoy.
Media availability will take place at 10:30 a.m., when Kristine Redfield will share her story of finding hope and help through the Westchester County Family Justice Center.
