NEW ROCHELLE, NY — To celebrate Public Works Week (May 15-21) the Department of Public Works will host a Truck Day event for kindergarteners at William B. Ward Elementary School (Broadfield Rd, New Rochelle) on Thursday, May 19 at 9:30am. Students will have the opportunity to explore the department’s ‘big trucks’ and at the same time learn about the important role Public Works plays in our community.
