NEW ROCHELLE, NY — The beach season officially begins this weekend, with the opening of Hudson Park Beach on Saturday, May 28. The beach is open weekends only in May and June and then every day, conditions permitting, from Monday, June 27 – Monday, September 5. Beach hours are 10 am to 6 pm.
Hudson Park Beach includes a tented food court area, playground, and picnic area. For the best value, frequent visitors are encouraged to purchase an Omnicard- New Rochelle’s Parks and Recreations identification card. As an added plus, the Omniplus plan or Family pass covers all beach access fees. The Omnicard is also your pass to enter Five Islands Park, Davenport Park, Cameron Dock, Sharkey Park, and Neptune Park.
