WHITE PLAINS, NY — Westchester Medical Center, the flagship of the Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth), is proud to welcome James Y. Lee, FACHE, as Senior Vice President for Operations.
In his new role, Lee will oversee all ancillary services and clinical support areas on the Valhalla and Poughkeepsie campuses, including pharmacy, radiology, laboratory, and respiratory care, as well as all clinical service lines. Lee’s goal in his new position is to guide the organization’s ancillary services and service lines in continued quality improvement and growth.
Lee brings to Westchester Medical Center extensive experience in community hospital and academic medical center operations and leadership, as well as management consulting, and he is passionate about service excellence. Prior to his appointment at Westchester Medical Center, Lee served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at NewYork-Presbyterian/Lawrence Hospital in Bronxville.
Lee earned an MBA from Cornell University, completed his administrative residency at New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center, and earned a BA in Economics from the State University of New York at Stony Brook.
Lee lives in Greenwich, CT with his wife and two daughters and enjoys traveling and cooking in his free time.
