NEW ROCHELLE, NY — A dispute involving two New Rochelle High School students, ages fourteen and fifteen, turned violent and resulted in one student hospitalized with a laceration to his wrist, according to police.
At 8:13 A.M. Thursday morning, the New Rochelle P.D., E.M.S. and Fire personnel responded to New Rochelle High School on a report of a student with an injured wrist. A police investigation determined that one student was inadvertently cut on his wrist during the altercation. An exacto knife was recovered.
One student was transported to Montefiore Hospital and treated for a minor laceration and released.
Due to the ages of the students involved, the incident was referred to the County Attorney, according to police.
