NEW YORK, NY — Ajkun Ballet Theatre, a New York City based professional ballet company, invites children of Westchester County, grades pre-k – 8, to participate in our 2016 production of The Nutcracker. Children partake in dance performance classes in either ballet or hip hop (divided by age) at Isaac E. Young Middle School taught by AjkunBT’s Professional Artists on Saturdays October 15 – November 19, 2016. On December 2 & 3, 2016, participants perform alongside artists of Ajkun Ballet Theatre in the beloved Holiday Classic The Nutcracker. AjkunBT’s Staff is committed to making this experience a unique and enjoyable one for all children, with or without previous training. Registration is limited. A suggested donation of $40 for your child’s participation will help cover the cost of instructor’s transportation to and from New Rochelle.
Participation in our Soloist Performance Program for young dancers with previous dance experience interested in auditioning for a featured role offers one on one private coaching with AjkunBT Principal Dancer for an additional fee.
