NEW ROCHELLE, NY — In partnership with the College of New Rochelle (CNR), the New Rochelle Public Library is offering a free six-week Creative Writing Class for High School Students and a free six-week Creative Writing Class for Adults. The classes will be taught by taught by faculty from the new MFA program in creative writing at The College of New Rochelle.
The Creative Writing Class for High School Students will be held on Thursdays, July 14 – August 18, from 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm. The Creative Writing Class for Adults will take place on Tuesdays, July 9 – August 16, from 12:00 noon – 1:30 pm. Both classes will be held in the second floor meeting room.
The CNR professors will guide and inspire participants in the writing of memoirs, fiction, and nonfiction. No experience is necessary. Each of the two classes is limited to 12 participants and registration is required. Please phone: (914) 813-3706 or email: communityrelations@nrpl.org.
