NEW ROCHELLE, NY — “How to Craft a Successful Grant Proposal” is the title of a workshop being offered at the New Rochelle Public Library on Friday, October 7, from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm. The workshop will be geared for managers of nonprofit organizations and individuals interested in becoming involved in the field of grant-writing, and is being led by Judith Margolin, is an independent consultant, facilitator, workshop and webinar leader on foundations and grants.
Proposal writing is the single skill most sought-after by savvy nonprofit managers. This basic introduction will provide invaluable tips on what a proposal narrative and budget should include, how to let a funder take the lead, and the best advice on writing and submission techniques.

She has devoted her career to philanthropy and is dedicated to helping nonprofit organizations secure the funding they require to fulfill their valuable missions. The workshop is made possible by the Friends of the New Rochelle Public Library. There is a suggested donation of $25 for each organization represented and $5 for individuals. Checks should be made payable to: “Friends of NRPL.”
