NEW ROCHELLE, NY — The Friends of the New Rochelle Public Library will hold their next monthly Big Book Sale on Friday, October 7st and Saturday, October 8th, from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm, in the lobby of the main library. The public may select from a wide range of gently-used hardcover and paperback books, CDs, dvds, and other terrific bargains.
The Friends will also be holding Mini Book Sales every Saturday, Tuesday and Thursday, from 11:00 am – 3:00 pm.
The executive board of the Friends of the Library, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, coordinates the book sale, with the assistance of other Friends’ volunteers. Money realized from book sales are used to underwrite the Library’s extensive public programs. The Friends welcome prospective volunteers.
