ALBANY, NY — A webinar is being sponsored by the Environmental Protection Agency and the New York State Department of Health. The webinar is scheduled for Friday, September 23, 2016 from 1:00 PM -3:00 PM for the school community.
This webinar will provide an overview of New York State’s new requirements of testing for lead in schools. It will also review EPA’s document: 3Ts for Reducing Lead in Drinking Water in Schools, which was used as a basis for New York’s new regulation. This webinar is intended for New York State School Communities. It will cover the rule requirements as well as the basic information needed to establish a 3Ts Program of Training, Testing, and Telling.
