NEW ROCHELLE, NY — In observance of National Emergency Preparedness month, Hugh Doyle Senior Center hosted The NY Citizen Preparedness Training program on Wednesday, September 21 to a class of 80. Members of the senior center, local residents, and NRPD participated in a training workshop sponsored by the NY State Citizens Preparedness Corp. The class was presented by two instructors, Lt. Brett White and Lt. Tom Frost. The program provided citizens with the knowledge and tools to prepare for emergencies and disasters and their ensuing recovery periods. Participants received a training certificate
upon completion.
