NEW ROCHELLE, NY — On Wednesday, September 28th, the New Rochelle Public Library Foundation will host a free workshop, “Estate and Gift Planning 101: What Everyone Needs to Know,” from 10:00 am – 12:00 noon in the Ossie Davis Theater of the main library. Patricia A. Brave, Esq., Kommer Bave & Ollman, LLP, and Mindy Eisenberg Stark, CPA, CFE, will present an overview of estate planning concepts in easy-to-understand language, followed by a question and answer session.
Presenters will help participants understand why estate planning is important and the basics of how to create a plan. They will also cover how to keep a will up-to-date, how to provide for loved ones and favorite charities, and the latest details on estate tax changes.
On Wednesday, October 5th, Patricia A. Brave will return for another session. She will be joined by Daniel S. Sirota, CRPC, Vice President, Sr. Financial Advisor, Senior Portfolio Advisor, at Merrill Lynch. The two presenters will continue the discussion and respond to questions from the audience.
This session is also free and will be held in the Ossie Davis Theater from 10:00 am – 12:00 noon.
