NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Event: Paul Short Invitational

Bethlehem, PA – The Iona College men’s cross country team took first place at the Paul Short Invitational. Four members of the Maroon and Gold finished in the top-10 as the Gaels led the 8,000-meter event with 34 points.
Key Notes:
Senior Kieran Clements placed second with a time of 23:38, one second behind the winner, Scott Carpenter from Georgetown.
Junior Gilbert Kirui placed third in 23:40.
Juniors Andrew Tario and Johannes Motschmann rounded out the Iona top-10 finishers, finishing seventh and tenth respectively.
Sophomore Liam Dee placed twelfth, crossing the finish line in 23:57.
