NEW ROCHELLE, NY — We are delighted to welcome Judge Smith back to New Rochelle. Robert Sherlock Smith began his tenure on the N.Y. Court of Appeals starting January 12, 2004, and reached mandatory retirement age of 70 in 2014. He generally was viewed as one of the most conservative judges on the Court. Judge Smith wrote more than 300 opinions while on the Court, of which over 200 were majority decisions. Judge Smith is that rare person who combines hard work and intelligence with a great sense of humor and ability to connect with people.
Please join us for an evening with one of the State’s most brilliant and controversial lawyers.
