Students Honored by Mamaroneck Artists’ Guild

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — New Rochelle High School visual arts students participated in the regional Mamaroneck Artists’ Guild program, “2017 Young Artists on the Rise” and were honored at a reception at the MAG Gallery in Larchmont on Feb. 1.

The show was on display from Jan. 25 through Feb. 4.

Eleven New Rochelle students won awards at the show: Nasreen Ahmed, 11th grade; Siena Callegari, 11th grade; Anne Hessel, 9th grade; Natalie Hernandez, 12th grade; Adina Hoppenstein, 12th grade; Amen Hussain, 11th grade; Eduardo Lopez, 11th grade; Fernanda Lujan, 11th grade; Colleen Maria, 12th grade; Jose Rodriguez, 12th grade; and Isaiah Shaw, 12th grade.

The show featured a collection of amazing artwork from local high school students, including Mamaroneck High School, the French-American School of New York in Larchmont, New Rochelle High School and Maria Regina High School in Hartsdale.
