NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Students at Davis Elementary have a lot to be proud of after wrapping up a spectacular four-week readathon. The participants read for a total of 1,252,204 minutes and raised $32,446 for their school.
Because of their hard work, each student who took part was given a Davis water bottle and a bookmark. The top reader in each grade won a Kindle and a certificate. Jadelyn Jackson, who raised $1,215, was the top fundraiser in the entire school. Ms. Flores’ class earned itself a pizza party as the top fundraising class.
Congratulations to all Davis students involved for expanding their minds and supporting their school!
