NEW ROCHELLE, NY — What: More than 50 celebrities and iconic sports figures will come out in force to support White Plains Hospital and the Mariano Rivera Foundation at a celebrity golf tournament and dinner event/awards ceremony on Monday, June 26th.
Who: Matt Lauer from NBC’s “Today Show,” Julius Erving, Darryl Strawberry, Reggie Jackson, Amani Toomer, Ottis Anderson, Eric Dorsey, Joe Torre, John Franco, Brian Cashman, Bobby Valentine, Seema Sadekar, Paul O’Neill, Justin Tuck, and many more.
Why: Top sports figures and entertainers support important causes, in this case to drive health access and information in the community for the underserved. Winged Foot was named among the top 50 courses in the United States for 2016/2017 by Golf Magazine and is the site of the 2020 Open. In 2016, this tournament raised nearly $400K.
