NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Vito DeNardo, a resident of Deerfield beach and former longtime New Rochelle resident, passed away on December 23, 2016. He was 85.
Vito was born on September 6, 1931 in Dobbs Ferry, NY to the late Nicola and Stella DeNardo.
Vito worked for over 20 years at NBC, before purchasing Palmer Point Marina in Cos Cob, CT with his wife, the former Jane Ellen MacDonald. Jane, who was Vito’s high school sweetheart ran the successful Marina alongside Vito, expanding their many friends and business associates for many years until Jane’s death in 1993.
Vito is survived by his children Lynn Correia and her husband Joe McCoppin, Michael DeNardo and his wife Danielle, Diane DeNardo, James DeNardo and his wife Karen and Cynthia Lopez and her husband George; his 5 grandchildren, Georgia, Mickey, James, Craig and Kimberly. His Sister Dolly Mazerella and brother Pat predeceased him.
A private memorial service is being held to honor his life at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel Inc. 16 Shea Pl. New Rochelle, NY 10805.
