NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Celebrating the flavorful variety of cuisines available in New Rochelle, the second annual FoodFest kicks off Sunday, October 8.  Presented by the City of New Rochelle in partnership with the BID and Chamber of Commerce, participating restaurants will offer their own ideal FoodFest special, from prix fixe menus and discounts to buy one/get one offers, uniquely designed to showcase each restaurant’s food and atmosphere.

“New Rochelle’s restaurants are as diverse and exciting as our community itself,” said New Rochelle Mayor Noam Bramson. “Come see why New Rochelle is fast becoming one of the Hudson Valley’s top dining destinations.”

“In downtown New Rochelle restaurants, you’ll find flavors from around the world, and some dishes you won’t find anywhere else,” said BID Executive Director Ralph DiBart. “Classic comfort food, inexpensive meals and elegant dinners are all there, for foodies, casual diners and every other palate. FoodFest, with its many deals, is a great opportunity to return to favorite restaurants or to try something new.”

“New Rochelle is quickly becoming the destination for foodies!” said Chamber Executive Director Jennifer Lanser. “The collaboration of the City, the BID and the Chamber for Foodfest is a great opportunity for local restaurants to showcase the eclectic mix of cuisines in the City of New Rochelle to residents and those from the surrounding areas.”
